Here is how Project Payday works in a nutshell.
This is how it works. You join receive a sample of something, let’s imagine it is an acne remedy.
This product has a retail cost of $50, but all you have got to pay is five greenbacks post and packing.
What you do is send your bill in, and you allegedly get paid $20 for your time and effort, because you have got to take the time to cancel the automated monthly cargo of acne cure which you won’t have realized is going to be charged to your ATM card monthly.
Sounds cool doesn’t it? You only have to pay five dollars and receive a check for $25, which is an automated $20 profit for 5 minutes work. The affiliate that referred you probably receives a bigger check than you do. Whatever, everyone is just as happy as a lark, nobody loses right? Somebody does lose and that is the company.
Is Project Payday Ethical?
The above is an illustrative example of what’s called incentivized promoting, and Project Payday is an online course that shows you how to make royalties promoting cost per action offers in an identical way.
Not everybody is familiar with cost per action marketing. This involves free or very reasonable trial offers which is a promoting system engineered to get products into the hands of new clients, praying that the company will gain sales thereafter.
You’ve likely seen them those flashing banners all over the Web that say get an iPod for free just pay shipping and handling, or get a free portable computer just by completing our survey. These are known in the business as incentivized freebie websites, and they are modeled on the same idea as Project Payday is.
That’s not to say you won’t receive your free iPod after filling in a survey or checking boxes next to other associate offers that you’re probably not very interested in anyway, but trust me there actually is a massive catch.
This is just a way for the company to capture your personal information, and you may find that your acne remedy cream is being delivered each month and being billed to your credit card before you realize it everyone knows there isn’t any such thing as free.
Of course there could be folks that are genuinely interested in a certain product or service and naturally that’s a different situation perhaps they really do need a once a month supply of acne cream!
But this is an internet marketing scheme which essentially bribes you into completing an offer and then tells you can cancel it immediately afterwards the company whose product it is, is getting cheated.
The company is losing money because it is paying the affiliate and you for doing something that’s fundamentally unethical and deceptive. Hence, the solution to any question about Project Payday will generally include the phrase” no it is not ethical.” But then if you haven’t any morals and are glad to collect commissions that way, then eventually if enough folks do it the company will finally go broke and you may essentially be slaughtering the golden goose.
That having been said, there are large amount of folks making six-figure even seven-figure incomes working part-time from home promoting CPA offers.
The difference is they push the offers in such a manner as to attraction people who are sincerely interested in at least trying the product.
It is a proven model and it works really well after you master the art and science of selling.
The key is to find a way to drive dozens, even hundreds of new visitors to your web site on a daily basis which is often easier said than done because there is a lot of competition online for that same traffic.
